I think gm is trying to change their image. I see many cummins and powerpoke powered trucks that tow for a living, but not too many duradud powered trucks. I think they're trying to change their image from "poseur" to "professional. " I guess there are enough dumb people that buy this marketing. One more thing. . IFS front axle must be a "professional" thing too. :rolleyes:
 
got stuck behind a durajunk gm 2500 series truck on kinneson mountain, steep but comeon i mean 15mph up hill with a 5th wheel camper seems a little slow to me, maybe it is just where i am not all that experienced in towing, but i have seen loaded coal trucks take similar grades at at least 25. log trucks and dump trucks fly up that mountain compared to this guy, they may actually hit 45 every once in a while.
