How many tow with limited slip or locker?

Las Vegas/Bullhead City, AZ Need local info..

I've some interest in getting started towing trailers. I did a search regarding "hotshots" and still have some questions. What will I need to do to get started? Will I need to contact a trailer company to haul their trailers to a dealer? Is it just outbound hauls, and no return product? Should I look at a 4X2 3500, or a 4X4? With living in WI, we do receive some snow. If I find a 4X4, will high mileage cause problems with the transfer case and front axle? I don't think I'd use the 4X4 much, but I've heard how bad the drw drives in any type of snow.

Any suggestions/comments would help greatly with this decision.

Thanks

Paul

My choice is 2wd. You get better mpg, and if you want to make money you will have to do some miles!! If the weather looks like you'll need 4 wheel drive, I just wait it out or find a trailer going someplace else. Check your PM also.

check out horizontransport.com . looking at them myself. I have a 2000 3500 4X4 w/4. 10 rearend. There are others out there but horizon seems to be one of the biggest. I live in minnesota and was told alot of deliveries in this area. Read through the entire site and you will find they have alot of pickup points around the country. Of course, the economy will play a big role for business. The set up cost are a little steep too.
