programing Key Fob

I have an extra key fob (remote) that the dealer left in the truck... it doesn't work as its not programed for the truck... .



Is there a way to program this(the truck) without a trip to the dealer??

Found my own answer after searching the manual... . Section 8N-9 - and printed out the results... .

Jim, check your Owner's Guide for instruction on programming the key. You must have two programmed keys to do so. It's really an easy straight forward procedure. I can't remember the procedure or the page number in the Owner's Guide, but check the index.



If you have the dealer do it, they will charge you a fee. My dealer gave me an extra cut key and I did my own programming.
