Going to be in the market for a programmer soon, can someone explain what the difference is between the "Smarty Jr" and the "J67 Junior POD"? They both seem to do the exact same thing, and they both cost the same.

You may get a better responce posting in the 4th gen section. However, the POD means "power on demand" and lets you dial back the chosen Catcher level on a 0 - 99 percentage while you're driving. It's never been clear however what tables exactly are being changed, but lower levels of POD drastically limit rpm as well.

4th gen? Will these programmers not work on my 3rd gen truck? I have a 2008, and I was leaning towards the Smarty Jr.

POD function works on 2007. 5-2009/ Doesn't work on the 2010's yet. No Smarty Jr. for the 2011.

the pod fnction is great but i havent used it now after injector change. . but often during winter i use it to get abit less power so it will not spin around all the time. .

and another thing you can swith between high power and economy in a sec.

like your cruising around and then you se a bmw sneaking up just dial in 99 and smoke that german *******

True, but when they get it figured out it won't take a new box, just a new download.

The only time I use PoD is when I am on dirt roads for the same reason.
