Who has tried them?

Have you tried a different type and then used Proloc?

Would you use them again?

Does the extra weight of this billet piece make a difference?

I search and looked and searched and looked and didn't find that much info.

I guess I am not going to worry about the warranty.

Thanks for you input.

gary whats your reasoning for getting the billet case ??? towing more than rated and using an exhaust brake ? that could be the ONLY possible reason i could see for a billet cover , and its still not needed .

never heard of the PRO LOCK ??? call bill k at DTT . his convertor is the BEST available from anyone , i have driven a suncoast and a pro torque . DTT 91% is in mine .

Suncoast is the one I was talking about.

So you love the DTT, I will be towing only 5000lbs but want the transmission to live.

Going to add a box of some sort soon, I feel the need for speed.

thanks

Before you go for the billet torque converter think about the extra weight. All of that is carried by the rear main bearing in your Cummins. Is it going to handle it long term? Will you have a probem with the rear main seal? Don't know. Don't want to have to rebuild the motor.
