Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) propane egine heaters

Well it's coming winter And I'm looking for an engine heater that don't need a power cord. preferably a propane powered one. All of the ones I have seen are for 700-900 cid. engines and need a lot of fuel.

Diesel fuel powered heater

You may want to check this out since you have a ready source of diesel fuel,, this is for smaller applications like a pickup truck. .

BTW I think Sam M. from shadetree mechanic installed a similar unit on his dodge diesel - but I think the unit he installed was in the lower radator hose...

my opion get the espar heater,i had mine for 6 years now and love it,i took it off my 95 when i traded it and put it on my 2000. no problems except glow pin this year.

propane engine heater

Propane engine heaters can be dangerous if you are in exterme cold climates. At 30 below and cold the fuel can gel and cause the unit to explode. Go with a diesel heater they are safer but they cost more.
