Propane injection?

Anyone tried it?

After my transmission mods I'm looking to upgrade some more. She pulls good with just the VA.
Thats all this truck does is pull a 34ft goose neck or a monorail trailer. GCVW's as high as 30,000lbs (but very seldom) usually around 18,000 to 25,000lbs.
I would like to have the extra power when needed and was just wandering?????

Any input or opinions would be great.

Hi,
I works great for extra kick aswell as a full time power adder with the benifit of better gas mileage, I use mine constantly, its adjustable in seconds from my street setting of around 20 to 30 hp to upwards of 50 to 60hp. I have had it on for 15k and almost a year.

I don't think there many of us that are running propane and use this board. Adam and I do. Take a look at my system-

the bottom pic on the left is the lock off and regulator. Adam uses a Bully Dog system which is vapor only. My system is a liquid system. Vaporization takes place at the converter. Take your pick. If you look close you can see a 5/8's hose feeding into a collar between the air filter and the turbo intake hose.

Propane is pretty fun stuff on a diesel. I leave mine on all the time now. It comes on via a boost sensitive switch mounted on the aluminum elbow bolted to the intake manifold. You can turn it on electronically too. I have gauges which have an external output signal which is programmable. This could be used to open the lock off at whatever boost pressure you like.
