So gary, decided against the propane huh. I had been following your earlier posts and was hoping you would try it and give us a report. I am thinking about doing it. How did you like the powershot on the first gen. What did you like/not like about that particular system. I am trying to decide which one to use.

As far as *I* am concerned, there's absolutely NOTHING with the PS to NOT like - it does everything Keith claims for it! It made at least 1 gears wort of difference towing in the hills - that's all I ever really used it for, so really can't comment on its use as a fuel mileage improver.

I'd really like to install it on the new truck - but the pure simplicity, compactness and lack of operator intervention/maintenance of the "magic boxes" is also hard to beat, and the new truck really needs so little additional power to satisfy me, it just seems a more sensible and trouble free way to go for now. BUT, if the PS setup doesn't find a new home, it'll always be available for future experiments - and once I start the add-ons, the warranty is out the window anyhow, so not gonna worry about it once I get started...

As the saying goes:

I AM MY OWN WARRANTY STATION!;) :D

Yeah, as you can see i went the box(s) and injector and turbo and everything else route, drugs are the next logical step. I want more power without more smoke, and i still need to be able to tow without heat probs, so bigger injectors are out. LPG sounds like the answer.

YUP and for THAT reason, propane would seem a good way to go - if anything, it lowers EGT, is there ONLY when you want it, in whatever level YOU choose, and doesn't place ANY additional stress upon the fuel system - which is certainly a big plus with the LP problems some are having...

I'd better watch out - I'll talk myself outta selling it... :D
