I have been running propane for a number of years now. I started with the old 5 gallon barbecue tank and then upgraded to a 15 gallon tank mounted in the bed. I have recently taken the tank out because I put a new protech tool box in. Since the tank was mounted to the box I didn't want to drill new holes in the box. I was just wondering where any one else has put theirs. Also my tank is a little old and I don't think I can get it filled anymore since it doesn't have any of the new safety devices. Another reason I don't want it where it was is that I need to install a goose-neck hitch in because all the trailers at the ranch have this set up. I need the extra room behind my box for the hitch and the clearance to turn with a trailer any ideas would be appreciated. Also where should I look for a new tank and if someone knows maybe how much. It doesn't have to be a big tank I only use it for the dyno and for the little extra hp when I need it. Thanx in advance.

Propane? doesnt that qualify as a DRUG? Doesnt that make your pickup a portable barbecue girlle if some bimbo in an SUV hits you? Sorry, had to rib you a little. Maybe under the bed, opposite your primary fuel tank? I'd definitely want some sort of cage around it, if to keep the other hands from messing it up.

Sometime drugs have their uses I have thought of putting it under the pickup somehow, but I don't like to be the one to get down there to fill it, but I don't use all that much so hey good idea maybe there or under my toolbox. If I didn't have so much crap in my box I would like to put it inside that would help against sabotage. I even tossed allot of stuff out and its still full.
