Propane vs. Nitrous

I am thinking about going with Nitrous or Propane after I get a transmission. Which one do you guys recomend? Which is safer?

Nitrous has the potential to make a lot more hp! I don't like propane as it is a fuel that is just drawn into the cylinder and it can cause pre-ignition... . You can make over 200 HP on nitrous with the proper setup but with either I would consider installing headtsuds.
