One more question

For those of you who went with the overhead mount and who have an auto-dimming rear view mirror. Does thte backlight for the gauges effect the rear view mirror brightness?

Thanks

Soon to have the overhead pod. I finished up wiring the gauges tonight and will install them tomorrow.

EGT is in the SRT style A pillar

Got everything installed last weekend. Slight modifications to the gauges to get them to fit nicely in the pod.

Gauge lights are controlled via separate switch rather than the OR/BR wire from the headlight switch. The color match using LED backlighting is closer to factory than the incandescent lights that came with the gauges.

Not at all. The forward sensor is still in view of on coming headlights and the rear sensor is shielded from stray lighting.

Thanks JasonH

Whats your LED setup like? Part numbers etc. I like that idea because they'll last forever. I was thinking of adding a seperate dimmer thumbwheel for the overhead install.

Gauge Locations

I put the EGT Gauge in the dash, and the boost, fuel pressure, & air bag pressure/switches, in the pencil holder location. Works great for seeing the EGT at any time, and just look down to see the other three if needed.
