Wish I had a complementary picture to add to this - our two labs (see the previous posts) are real hunters, but they came to love our 20+ year old cat last year until the cat passed away. :( It was a real eye opener about how hunters/hunters can get along together, and how one will take in another when there's a situation. It was a real heart-breaker, but the dogs were honest troopers.

BTW, the one in the background of your picture is an obvious trouble maker! ;)

The big one is Scamper and the small on is Hartly. Both hand-me-downs, eight and nine years old respectively. Just good dogs.

I know its a bad picture - I have a better camera now... Here's Fritz! 120# Rotty... My 4 year old uses him as a pony. Who says rotts are vicious??

The best truck dog

Sorry boys, I think I have you all beat. I wish I could post a picture of Buford, my slobbery lazy Basset Hound, the ultimate truck dog. Anybody ever see Smokey and the Bandit? He rides shotgun on many trips from Albuquerque to Southern California, almost 12 hours and 800 miles of snoring to go along with the diesel clatter. He never complains, never whines to get out and pee, just lies there asleep. As long as he gets his cheeseburger at Carl's Jr in Kingman he's perfectly content. I also have to roll down the window when we get close to the beach so he can let his massivve ears flop around in the sea breeze

Here is my newest dog, my 5 year old three legged Rottwieler. He spent 4 years in the pound. He was found with metal pins sticking out of his leg that were infected so they had to amputate it. He is a great dog though who is getting used to a happy life and not being on concrete in a pen for the rest of his life. #ad

Don you know what they say about beauty, "It is in the eye of the beholder!" Strange thing though, what is the first thing that two dogs usually do when they meet for the first time? And some idiot out there selling breath mints for dogs. It ain't exactly each others breath those dogs were smelling was it? :D

RottnDouge,

You know I used to say there was no such thing as an ugly dog, but those white eyes, I don't know:D :D :D

They only turn white like that right before he attacks... .....

Well I hate to burst everyones bubble, but here goes. My dog's name is Scooter. A 56# white BULL TERRIER, who at this time is over 14 yrs. old. Scooter climbed into my 85 Freightliner at the ripe old age of 7 weeks. In over 14 yrs. Scooter has missed "1" load, has been to every state but Hawaii, Alaska 2 times, and much of Canada. Well over 1,000,000 miles and still clicking.

Here's my Rat Terrier in his usual pose, just waking up. Loves to sit on the center console so he can look out all the windows.

Gotta put in my Hunting partner. Without him I would be out freezing on my own. Sometimes I get cold just watching him swim in the winter. But he's my BUD!! Jake is his name. Unique HUH:D

Here's mine.....

It's a shame there are so many bad owners out there. Totally destroyed the Rottweiler name. Two major Homeowners Insurance companies out here won't even insure me because I have Rotties. I told them to come meet my lap dogs:) Enough ranting... ...

Sheba who is no longer with us is on the left. (12 and bad joint problems) and Harley is on the right. He's still kicking at 13. Named him after the bike because he rumbles a lot and leaks everywhere he goes:D :D
