* Boosts cetane up to 4 numbers provides smoother engine performance with less power lag
* Cleans dirty fuel injectors
* Reduces exhaust emissions up to 50 percent
* Lubricates fuel injection pumps and injectors - reduces wear
* Reduces piston and combustion chamber deposits
* Increases power
* Decreases fuel consumption up to 5 percent - fuel savings exceed cost of additive
* Prevents thermal breakdown of diesel fuel
* Prevents corrosion of fuel system components
* Stabilizes stored fuel - protects against conditions that promote microbial growth

I had less power and burned 1mpg more fuel using this stuff. :rolleyes:

Most chemicals like this require long term, accurate mixing to be of some good... . we started to use a chemical that requires 4 or 5 oz per 100 gal to protect our trucks with the move to ULSD..... we believe that the long term effects are going to be like moving from leaded gas to unleaded gas on those vehicles not designed for it.....

We know that we will not see better mpg, or worse for that matter... . all we are interested in is lubrication of the fuel delivery system, pumps, injectors etc..... and we understand that its going to cost us a couple of cents a gallon to do this... but we get some additional protection in 2 ways... better lubrication and lower cloud point...

Does it really help... don't really know... be we understand how many problems we had with them move to unleaded gas... so for the older stuff not designed for ULSD we are going to use it... .

Just my thoughts on this.....

I don't really know if there is any improvements in fuel economy, but Power Service does significantly lower filter plugging temperature. I live in ND and haven't used any #1 fuel in my pickup for the past two winters. I'm quite happy with that fact alone!

There is no magic bottle out there. No will give better mpg. We use them for the extra protection the offer. Antigeling, and lubracaition. If there were a magic bottle I'd buy stock.
