2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Psycho speedometer part 2

and not finding a solution I now have a new set of speedo symptoms. The silly thing (speedo) will bounce around to different speeds up to 45 mph when sitting still. Depressing the clutch pedal seems to calm it down some compared to sitting in neutral with the engine running and foot off pedal. It will jump around when driving too. This is too weird.

Any good ideas out there? Also I had the trans out 3 weeks ago and will be checking the speedo connector tomorrow.

Problem solved, I removed the VSS connector at the trans and cleaned it good with brake cleaner and let it dry and moved the wires around a bit and now its back to normal.
