pulled engine

i was at my local dealer having an estimate made for a brake overhaul, and spotted a 3rd gen. ctd having work done. what suprised me is that the engine was sitting on the floor,down nearly to the bare block, head in bed with various other parts. didn't get the chance to ask the sm what was up with it. what could be the problem?

Perhaps the tech who serviced it last forgot to put the air filter back in...

Or they filled it with 5W-30 meant for the Neon in the next bay.

No doubt, a Banks fuel box. Isn't that always the case??.

I bet I can do better than that John, it probably had amsoil and a K&N filter in it!

I pull mine everytime I service it. You mean you guys don't? How else you supposed to get all the old oil out? :-laf
