Pulled the trigger on a used 03 HO 6sp

That's right folks



Flew to Salt Lake City this sat and picked up a used 03 w/ 56k milesand drove it home 683 miles. Set the cruise to 79mph and got 17. 8 mpg. What a refined truck. I just love it. It is a fully loaded laramie 4X4 and drives like a dream. I have plans to drop apx 10K into it as $ allows and i will still have less dollars into it than what it would run new. It is is very good shape but not perfect. Minor fixes are required.





Now its time to get to work



First things to do are



Air filter - Does anyone have a quality drop in one (AFE, amsoil etc that want to sell??? it not what or where is the best price to get one?



Exhaust- will do some type of 4 inch exhaust.



315/70/17 BFG's were put on this morning. Better ride and look than the michelins



Maintenance- lots of maintenance Change oil, trans, transfer case and both diffs. any other suggestions??? what is the conclusion on the what synthetics to use for all items



Front shocks- I need something used or cheaper to get me thru before the T-REX suspension is added.



Lastly-Does any one know how to get previous maintenance history thru DC on this worldly traveler (made in mexico,sold to canada, titled in indiana ect)

D. C. wont have a record of maintance only warranty claims. For maintance records you would have to track down previous owner.

I will asap but the wifey says "you got your dream truck now sell the 01 now" . I have a few minor things to do so i am focusing my energy on looking for a home for the 01. FYI we are looking to be in Umatilla in june and I will look you up.
