Competition How Long Is To Long On Egt

Anybody running a 305-70-16 Goodyear Wrangler MT/t or BFGoodrich Mt, how do they work to pull with and wear on the pavement, i am trying to decide on which tire will work the best?

You're gonna need some serious torque (nowhere NEAR stock) numbers to turn meats that aggressive while sled pulling. With less than 350 horse, I'd imagine that those tires wouldn't allow enough wheelspin. I'm sure others with more experience than me (none) will chime in. :)

Tires

Somebody on here has got be using these tires, alot of trucks last year at Diesel Extravaganza i was looking at had goodyear mt/r on them didn't see to many bfg mt.

I've not used the Wrangler MT/Rs, but have used the BFG MTs. The MTs are good for pulling on a soft or muddy track and they don't wear too bad on the road either. I have seen others do well using the MT/Rs on a soft track. My personal opinion would be to use BFG ATs as an all around driving/pulling tire, if I were limited to one set of tires for both.
