Competition Pulling gears with 3.73's and 6 speed

I will probably try hooking to the sled this weekend.

If I do, what gear should I be in? and also 4lo or 4hi?



I have the 6 speed, and 3. 73's.



I am not worried about clutch or power.

Just want to know what the people with 6 speeds do!

4hi is too fast of a wheeh speed.

if it is a loose track, 4th low range will work... if you have the fuel.



Most run 3rd low to save the clutch.

4 Low worked pretty well.

I went 216'.

Most of the trucks at Sullivan were getting it right in the 230 area.

So I wasnt too far off for a near stock truck.



Onto the next pull.....
