Off Roading 3" Spacers and control arms

I know rules change from season to season, but does anyone have a clear definition of what the rules are for the different classes of diesel pulling trucks. I am trying to find out exactly down to the knat's a$$ what is and isn't allowed, especially on the front suspension. Everything I find contradicts what I read previously. Any help or direction is appreciated. -Thanks, Nicholas.

Those are the best Diesel rules around, but I have a biased opinion, and they will be changed, soon, for 05.

Then you have about 4 different classes in 2 different ATPA orgs.

Link to one of them. www.enterpriseengine.com

And, the NTPA is fooling with one also.

A group in Indiana, has a points series going for single chargers,www.haisleymachine.com for details.

There is a mess of them in Kentucky, mostly different.

The Californians have way crazy rules "Extreme" they call them.

NW Pa clubs are following DHRA lead, but southern and eastern PA have different rules, BOTH different.

I have just touched the tip of the iceburg here.

Pretty much, stay with a stock charger, but then the Chevys will pound you, you could go to twins, but alot of the places will put you in with Scheids.

Stick with Diesel fuel only.

In my honest unbiased opinion, figure out where you want to pull, and who is running those pulls, build your truck to fit.

If you want to travel to big pulls, pick a class from the DHRA, build your truck to fit, and then look at the other places and see if you fit in.

Welcome to the party. Sleddy pretty much hit the nail on the head. I am slowly building my truck around the rules that are run most often out in my area. Had to put a lot of thought in to my turbo purchase and sacrifice certain things in order to "fit in". Seems silly to make some of these decisions based on pulling rules that may change any time, you have to decide how much sacrifice you re willing to make. It will be nice when rules become more universal and solidified - I think it is slowly getting there, but we just have to ride it out until then. Like Sled said, we have some Crazy rules out here in Cali. It is all based on what the competitors in the area bring to the table. No easy answers unfortunately for this.

That is a good way to include everyone you can, until the numbers pick up.
