Competition which turbo for street class

Heres something to throw around. What tires do you guys think are the best all around pulling/street tires. I've heard Boggers, TRXUS STS, BFG AT's ????? What do you guys think.....

A lot of the modified class pullers were running Interco STS's this year, but they are also mostly trailer queens anymore. Generally you see a lot of BFG A/T's or just a good A/T type tire. You definately do not want to go with Boggers unless you like replacing parts!!

I'm going with a set of 305 Bridgestone Dueller A/T's this year.

Smoke,

Most mods run Cepek's.

Some of the ProStock/SuperStreets run the Interco stuff.

We're both right in a sense Justin... ... I wasn't thinking when I typed "modified" as I was thinking in terms of Street/Modified/Open. ;)

Modified is usually the big boys Kent, Van, Terry. Momentary brain fart! :p

How many out there are running BFG MT's? Unfortunatly I have to run 255/85R16's on my dually and the BFG mt's are about the only tires that I like that come in that size. Running 3:73's with the power I am building the engine for I think they will be alright. I know up here in Ontario ALOT of guys are running the Muds but nothing more aggresive than that.

Terry Coppess runs six BFG Mud's on his 98(Justin?) 3500 pulling truck. I think he runs the 255's out back and two 33x12. 50's up front? ;)

If your going to run MT's just make sure you have the power to turn them.

I see alot of pulling trucks run aggressive tires and they basically end up with no wheel speed and the track pulling down their RPM at the end of the pulls.

Its better to stay up on top the motor the whole way and spin out.

IMO.

Spinning keeps you from breaking too. .

That sounds about right Smoke.
