I just did mine today..... for the SECOND time.
Both times I have done mine I pulled the PS pump off the VacP and left it connected. If you do this then you have unbolted the bracket from the pumps since it is held between the PS pump and the lower, passenger side nut that holds the PS pump to the VacP.
There is also a bracket immediately behind the PS pump that holds one of the throttle linkage springs that will need to come off.
I'm not sure it can but you might also make sure the VacP hasn't dropped down where the timing case is between the pump housing and the gear.
