All,

If you have an older model Pullrite SuperGlide 5th wheel hitch and are trying to fit it into a new truck (I sold my '04 and and wanted to move my hitch to a 2014), you'll find that it won't fit directly. The older Super Glide was designed for their Super Rails, not the Industry Standard Rail that the new trucks have, or will have if you are going to be towing a 5th wheel.

In order to adapt the older Super Glide to the new truck, you'll need a Super Glide Industry Standard Rail adapter, Part Number 4409. The Instructions are attached below.

It's a long story, but I ended up with two of them, with the spare one sitting brand new in the box from Pullrite. The part is about $230.00 to $250.00 on the internet - but that's often with free shipping. The problem is the 4409 set is about 60 pounds, and shipping is probably not cheap if you had to pay for it. Soooo...

If you wanna give me $75.00 plus shipping it's yours. I figure you're still in it for half the price (or less) of one from a vendor. That seems like a good TDR deal for a member of our Mopar community.

Thanks

Do you still have this for sale? Where are you located? How did it work in your new Ram? I just picked my Laramie Mega cab up this weekend.

It works great. In fact I was concerned that it might be too high, with the double-rail 4409 on top of the standard rails and the hitch on top of that, but pullrite pointed out that the new trucks have much deeper beds that the old ones - so the height is needed.

I still have it, and I'm in southern CA.

The "crossbar" in front of the hitch in the first photo is a bike rack. It's just sitting there. Has nothing to do w the hitch.

How far below the top of the bed does it end up after you stack it all up?

That's a good question. Lemme see if I have a pic that shows. Otherwise I'll go measure. I'll be back home Saturday. It's all yours if you want it by the way. I'll get it shipped Saturday too. I'm checking shipping costs online - Just checked. UPS ground shows $53.02. PM me your info and I'll git er done!
