One more question? Do all 1999 pull to the left. My brother in law just bought one and it is almost miserable to drive. I also have noticed my dads 99 also pulls slightly left. Is there a cure?

I have a 2001 and it pulled left. I took it in and they aligned the front end. It still pulled so they switched the two front tires... . it then pulled to the right. My tires had only 11-12K miles on them so I did not want to get rid of them. What I did was inflated them to a higher (70) psi. As I rotate my tires every 9k miles the problem comes and goes depending whether the suspect tire is upfront or on the rear.

mine pulls too

my 99 pulls, sometimes worse than other times. i think it has to do with a combo of things, road, tires, inflation, etc. i had my alignment checked (it was perfect) track bar replaced, and it still pulls a little. i do notice some play in the steering output shaft too.

pulling to left

Andy;

go see your friendly tire store. (manufacture of said tire) and have them look at the tire that pulls. they should be honest with you and inspect it for you, and check for belts that have slipped. this falls into the category of manufacturing defect. they should adjust it as a prorate. unless you want to just deal with it.

just my penny's worth.

Look in archives for Pull to left (right) . Answer go to a heavy truck alignment shop . Look in your area for the shop that the fire,garbage ,bus, major contractors ,Motor home and other big rigs and have them do the alignment . Did my 99 35oo and good for last two years . In Louisville thats Tony's alignment thats most of what they do . And they do it right. Ron in Louisville KY
