Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) pump balanced -high idle now??????

well ,just got the the pump balanced injectors flow tested and balanced ,3k springs in the pump 16* timing and 60# valve springs ,, the tech said the truck will idle high because it will stall out ... . idles at 1000 rpm's now anything less it will stall as soon as i put it in gear ... is this true or does the pump need more adjustment... .....

Sounds like your governor springs are out of adjustment. You need about . 050 to . 062 protrusion from the top of the stud to the retainer. Hope this helps.

with all that i had done it should idle around 750- 800 rpm's without stalling ,,,, i will look into that g-spring and check the height on it ,,thanks
