Well I was playing with things that I should not have been playing with!!

Now I need to put the pump on a test stand! And I also now know what high timing sounds like.

I know that Scheid has a stand. Does Dave Mitchell? How much does it cost to have it done?

TIA

Edit for spelling.

Lets just say it sounds like my truck has a huge cam in it!

It pulls really hard at 46#s of boost! And the smoke dosent clear at all!

And really smokes a lot! No really! It smokes so much that it fills both lanes of traffic and the wall of smoke is about 12" high and is so dense you cant see head lights through it!:--)

I'll second that(from Cummins Corvette) question-what were you playin with Paintersdsl ?

Just so the rest of us don't make the same mistake. ;)

Black thick smoke and a lot of it. :D :-laf

Black smoke = unburned fuel= to much fuel and not enought air (compressed).

I guess you were playing with the injector pump timing or the screws on the back of it (with a wire running thru them).
