ok ya'll i have a bet w/ my uncle about pump settings vs. fuel econ.

now the bet stands as such my uncle says that becaue i tweaked the fuel screw on my pump(truck in sig) that no matter how i drive i will get worse fuel econemy. i say otherwise, i say that if i drive exactly the same(yes hard to do) that i can get the same fuel econemy as i did before tweaking the pump. and since my uncle and i could go back an fourth on whos right and whos wrong we decided to get outside sources. he is going to afi here in modesto and im calling on anyone on tdr who knows from first hand experinence w/ tweaking pumps(not so much mine but any) now i would love to have experts in the field aka trained experinced mechanics who have been there and done that.

also which ever way is correct tell me why so that i can better understand it thanks in advanced.

I think with the RIGHT tweeks and given the same or as close to the same driving, a slight mileage increce is easily possible. But I also believe that its easy to go down in fuel efficiency as well. I remeber reading about Jim Fulmers trip to MM in Vegas last year and with his 800+ HP dyno run and cross county trip out here to the west he got 18 or 19+ MPG!! So with slight pump tweeks its possible.
