Uhhh, the TST Grabber is made by... get this... TST! The same company that made the #11 plate in your 12 valve. They have them all you need to do is call them.

Just a tip : When installing the Grabber, angle it under the intake air horn, with the top part aimed towards the rear of the truck.

Angling it forwards toward the front of the truck can cause it to rub and burn through, shorting out the pump wire.

If their not selling them any longer they must have had problems. Anyone using the EDGE needle connector?

I have it....

and love it!:D No problems whatsoever. (knock on wood) I'm not sure why Edge decided to stop using it, but I'm sure they would tell you if you called them. ;)

the GRABER

its a test adapter made by "Fluke" If its not made by Fluke then the 2 that I have for my fluke 87 look exactly the same you use it to test on wires that you dont want to cut into or cant disconnect

I have seen and used the Blue Chip cover and it is worth every penny. If the dealer notices a pinhole in the pump wire they can void your warranty. Plus the peace of mind of having a watertight connection that won't allow any corrosion to form on a vital wire.

Just my opinion,

Matt

Take a look at www.Grainger.com

The Grabber is made by Pomona, and you can get two of them for under $30.

TST does not manufacture the item!

A scotch lock,a wire piercing device,is not an adequate connection in an enviroment that shakes and vibrates cools and heats, and carries quite a bit of current will cause nothing but problems. SOLDER IT dont be scared. If you want a warranty dont modify your truck.

mdemello,

Chill out a little bit, hes wanting to save his warranty and modify his truck at the same time, which alot of us have done!

Bye the way, I dont have any problems with my TST Grabber, its been on for several months now.

You can rob your wife's sewing kit, use a pin to pierce the wire and solder the fueling box wire to the pin if you don't want to buy a better mousetrap.

I've seen various (and butchered attempts) wire taps but now that Chrysler is back charging the dealer for warrentied pumps that have pierced wires... ..... I can think of no reason not to use the Blue Chip cover. It's simple, stays clean and costs about the same as a tank of diesel fuel. Might even a save a $1000 or more in VP 44 costs. JMHO, Larry
