It's called a stackhat. I purchased it at Iowa80.com . The cost was about $18. 00. They come in different colors and will fit either a 5" or 6" stack. I was growing tired of the never ending soot showers that would fall all over my truck whenever it rained, this should help and it sure looks a heck of alot better than the wash pail I was using. I know that I could probably solve most of my problem with a small hole drilled into the first elbow of the stack, but these is more colorful :D .

Here's the best part, if you forget to remove the stackhat, don't worry. Mine blew off at start up and landed 15' away  . Guess it wouldn't be so great in a crowed parking lot, but I got a good laugh when I forgot to remove it while in my driveway and found it lying in the woods.

Here's a pic... ...

I LOVE IT

Sounds like a great idea for a new competitive event.

this would be too cool,

I will be installing my stacks soon and I thought I would drill a 1/8 hole at the low point drain to grade  comments welcome

When you said put a helmet on that thing I thought you was refering to the purple helmeted yougert slinger:D

dang that thing looks built.

I have always wondered why some of yall that have stacks don't get those little flaps like some big rigs have.

Mike put one on David's truck. That thing makes one hell of a racket at idle. Down right annoying.

I did look into a mother in law tongue for my stack, I wasn't able to find one that would fit the cut of the Bull Hauler stack. Guess it would be simple enough to build one, if you wanted. The trick would be having the pivot inside the stack for a neat install.

Kevin, I'm not sure about the can in the stack, I've wondered the same thing.

I like the idea of the cap launch as a competitive event :D . I gotta get someone else to start the beast so I can really watch it in action  .

He always gets the COOL toys......

Scott,

You're always up to somethin'... ... ..... Looks good and works well I bet..... You could attach a ribbon to the eye on the end like on Fighter Jets... ..... "REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT"... ..... lol

You need to consult with someone from ballistics so we can create the perfect projectile to launch from your stack... ... ... like a big cork or somethin'

Eric

Hey BigSaint, i have a bunch of bright orange "REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT" streamers. Drop me a PM if you want one and ill send it to you when i get back. It would look pretty cool.

EMD ( Will) PM enroute. That is going to be the cats a$$ !!!!!

I know what you mean Eric, we just received a 1/4" of rain, my lawn is toast. Kinda like walking on corn flakes.

Eshaw... do they make 6" corks ;) ?

It's always fun until someone puts an eye out!!:p

Dang, an orange cap and the "REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT" streamer makes me want a stack!

yes, stacks will launch a coke can. A few buddies of mine like to jack with me about that. They stick one or two in each stack almost every day at work. First time I nail the throttle, all I can hear is foomp, foomp! out come the cans. One did hang up one day. It made a funny whistling noise at about 2300. Took me 30 minutes to dig it out.

Never tried the tennis balls... But my stacks are too big for that anyway. They'd go straight to the muffler.
