Put a ZF-6 in my 95

Well after letting the transmission sit in the kitchen for 5 months, I finally put it in. I put a SBDD cluth in. It used a ford pilot bearing, throwout bearing, and pressure plate, and a dodge flywheel. Southbend is great at setting up a clutch how you need it. I used a slave cylinder for the zf-6 and the rest stayed the same. I also put the US Gear OD on and got the driveline shortened about 2 ft. The transmission fit as good as the zf-5, maybe even better. I ran the transmission cooler lines to the transmission cooler in the radiator and used the transmission mount that goes with the zf-6. Drove the truck 50 miles so far and everything works great. The clutch is a little noisy when I push in the peddle though, but I think its those plates.

Is that a FordCummins bellhousing adapter? If so, did you have any starter clearance issues, or alignment problems with the input shaft? I used a FordCummins bellhousing adapter, and dowel pins werent included with it, so I have to pull my setup apart insert dowel pins to get my input shaft to stop dragging. I also had to pull my whole setup apart again to grind out an area for the starter to fit. If it was a FordCummins adapter, how did you find the customer service?

Yep, that's a fordcummins adapter. I had to remove some metal from the transmission bellhousing and I had purchased some 3/8" steel pins for alignment because there was too much room for misalignment without them. Roger never told me about pins or the starter, but I figured he just forgot. Roger is a good guy and I have found his service to be fine, but when doing conversions you have to learn a lot of things as you go.

Yep, I faced the same problems. It would have been nice if Roger had told me what to do before it all went together. When I asked him about it, he just said that he needed to start adding instructions with the adapters, I agreed with him. Are there holes in the bellhousing adapter to press the 3/8 steel pins in?

Yep, there are holes in the adapter and the transmission that line up perfect. The 3/8" pin slides right in, but is not a press fit, so I just put locktite all over it to hold it in place. If you look at the adapter plate picture you will see a 3 hole set on each side. The pin hole is the middle one.
