Hey guys, I got a bit of a problem here. I just got my injectors back from getting them poptested and put them in this afternoon. I did everything the same way I did before, got them all in straight, torqued to all the specs, and then did the starting procedure and now it turns over fast like it wants to start but its making a almost a nocking noise when it goes through one of the cylinders. Saw no leaks and changed out all the copper washers, any ideas?

Try cracking a couple of injector lines, 3 and 5, until you see fuel, then crank her over. No fuel and you've got another problem!

When I replaced mine I had a loud knocking noise when I was trying to get her started. After I cracked a couple of lines and got the fuel to them, she started and the sound disappeared ... I really don't know what the noise is, maybe someone else can explain, all I know is it went away. How did it work out for you? Do you see a big difference with the injectors?
 
Hey guys, I finally got her started. Thanks to all that gave me advice. Mine was doing the exact same thing you said ARoss and so I cracked 1 3 and 5 and got her going. A guy that goes to class with me and has more experience than me helped me. He said that that knocking noise was just cause it still had air in the lines and it was called a fuel knock( i think?). Once I got er started just let it run a few minutes and then made a little round and everything ran great. And yes I did see a big diff with the injectors. I got them originally so I could get more response in lower rpms cause with that banks it wouldnt do much untill 2 grand or so. The only thing is the banks isnt defuelling as much as I thought it would so now I can hit 1400 no problem. So Im saving up for a turbo, and a clutch, and fass, and... .....
