Putco Boss bar

I know this has been covered before, but I am looking for the best price on Putco BOSS Wheel-to-Wheel bars for my quad cab long bed. I could have sworn that I had seen them for about $600 shipped when I was looking last week.

Today, the best price I found was $689 shipped from TruckStuffUSA.



I searched, but most results are from last year. Anyone have a lead?

That's the excuse, but not the truth!



Steel prices continue to fall in all parts of the world including here. The steel market has help up the best in the US and the most expensive steel on the planet right now is in the Western US.



Scrap continues to drive down and the mills are seeing a reduction in workload for the first time in 2 years. Imports will help the market continue downward with the largest dip forecast for the 3rd quarter.



Go figure.

the way I figured, the companies bought steel inventory when it was high and won't drop their prices until they go through that stock and buy some more at the cheaper price.

Then again, I suspect that consummer goods won't go down in price - that's just not the american way!
