Putco Box Rails

Paid a premium price for these and they are rusting along the edges! :{ I have much cheaper model on my tailgate that is fine. Anyone else have problems with PUTCO? Do they warrantyk their stuff? Thanks, Doc

Good Godd this site is SLOW. Anyhow, sorry to hear about your disappointment. I have the putco bed rails, tailgate guard and there Boss Bars, all are doing just fine. Mine are the polished ones, and I applied the wax before installation like they suggested, No problems. I have had many trucks and way too many appearance parts, as a whole, Putco products are vastly better then the competition. Give them a call and see what they have to say about your bed rails? Goos Luck

I have there stainless steel smooth rail and tail gate covers. With all the salt the burbs of Chicago get they have rust around the edges. I think it is coming from the underside because I can rub the reddish-brown off and see no problems with the surface. Will have to wait for a warm day to buff and see. At least the plastic mirror and door handle covers look ok.

Are yours blued along the edges from where they were cut? I just put a set on mine and they are blued from heat.

Mine sound like the same area of rust as Caddy's. If this continues I'll see if the vendor will honor. I got em at AutoTrim design. Doc
