putco nerf bars

Any opinions on the 4" Boss nerf bars? Does anyone have a pic of these on their 3d gen ctd ?

I think it was Putco that I saw for my dually... come all the way back to the rear fender skirts and wrap outward. Very cool but very $$$$.

I love them, had them on my SRW and got a set for my dually. The fit and finish was perfect, they looked great on both trucks and I haven't had any problems with either set. They are also easy to install but nice and solid. I personally think the 4" diameter fits in with the larger bold styling of the Dodge. The only downside, as thealaskan already mentioned, is that they are pricey.

I like the way those mount better than the Alpines I have on my truck. I hate the mount and might replace them. They are mounted to the truck by the cab mounting bolts. Because of the number of washers and rubber bushing, they flex a little. The mounts are also low due to their location with the screw protruding downward. I was going to cut the screw, but am looking at other alternatives.

I have the Putco Nerf Bars on my 03. Installed them myself and they look as good today as the day I put them on. Theve been on for over 3 years. Installation is not difficult and they are very solid



You won't be sorry if you get them.
