Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Putting a auto in a 01 H.O.

Has anyone put a auto in a H. O. My concern is with the ecm and pcm. If I use the ecm out of the donor truck it will be a S. O. not a H. O. anyone found a way to do this or can it be done?

Don't know about swapping in an auto but I'll take the 6 speed when your done.

I already have a taker on the 6spd but the sbc dual disk will be 4 sale if I can make the auto work.
