PW injectors on a pre 91.5

How are your EGT temps on the non intercooled pre 91. 5 model years? I still have the stock injectors on both of my rigs, and while I was moving to Arkansas I pulled a very heavy load (approx. 20K truck and trailer gross) On some of the steeper grades, my egt was reading a little above 1350, and boost at 25psi if I kept my foot mashed to the floor. I was holding this temp for up to five minutes on some hills. The pump is at stock settings. If install these injectors, and crank the fuel, I'm afraid I will roast it.
 
Need to get that intercooler!! I have the PW injectors, get about 22PSI when towing, have seen about 1100 one time in the summer on a long grade pulling a 6000# trailer. Pump is stock as is the housing.

DJP welcome. I have a 90 with a 16 cm2, K&N, and a free flow exhaust but I only get 22 psi. I have never pulled that kind of load though with the gauges so 25 psi is a big number for me. The max temp I can hit is 1000-1100 pre-turbo if I'm trying but it is usually around 950. My PW injectors just came in the mail yesterday (just after the long weekend!). You may want to try a free flow exhaust. I'll give an update when I have them installed.
