I dont know if it is the turbo or what but my truck just doesnt feel right. I know that it is making power but it just doesnt feel like it is making enough. It has a new VP44 and stays at 23lbs of fp at idle. I dont know if maybe I should go with different injectors instead of the jammer nozzles(which were not pop tested) or if it is the HX-40, which I can only get to build about 38psi max. Truck smokes with Juice on 5 badly. Just wonder if turbo lag is so bad that by the time the turbo spools I have ran out of RPMs. Just doesnt feel that fast to me. I can put my finger on it. It is going to be a little bit before the SPS 62 comes along but I am just wondering if it will fix my problem or if my problem lies somewhere else. Should I change and go to a different injector cause I really dont see how I could go any bigger because at low rpms this thing will cloud BADLY. Wonder if maybe the nozzles are not good for the truck or what but something just doesnt feel right. For instance I did the work on a customers truck which is a 2006 Duramax LLY. I put dual 4 inch exhaust, AFE stage 1 intake and Bullydog Triple Dog DL on Extreme. His was a 2500 4x4 just like mine and we went from a 20mph kick and by the time we hit 60-70 he had pulled me by almost 2 trucks. That shouldnt be right. I have 35's but my truck doesnt even hardly want to spin the tires from a 20 mph roll. Just seems like it should have more balls than that. Any ideas?#@$%!

If you want it to come alive sooner you need to get a smarty for sure. Also I would recommend better and bigger injectors with the new turbo at least 130 hp or 150, F1, II or DDP. What you are describing sounds normal to me. I say SMARTY will fix your cravings. :)

That is what I was planning on doing is the SMARTY but I have just heard so much negative feedback on it that I am kinda second guessing myself. Do you think that the SPS 62 will help this problem?

I don't think the turbo is going to help with what you are looking for down low in the rpm band. As I stated about SMARTY in another thread you started is that you just need to adjust your driving habits with the smarty as you need to do with any other mod. I find that if You just kick OD off and leave it off until you cruise over 55 it performs great. I also adjusted my TC cable to the transmission to increase the shift points a bit so it doesn't hunt for gears at all. I played with it until I got the shift points to 10 mph1-2 and 27mph 2-3gear. it eliminated all the hunting and is awesome with smarty.

Do the smarty you will not regret it. The issues are with autos and are mainly drivability problems that can be tweaked with fixes like I just told you about. :)

I think that they will get some newer programming figured out for us auto guys. The issue with smarty is the length of time it is taking for an update for these issues on the 2nd gens which are minor. It has a lot more benefits to it also.

Not sure what your problem is, but have you pulled the end cover on the Juice to make sure the tap is connected properly? If so the led's will be scanning. I only have RV275's but I do have an Aurora 2000 turbo, otherwise we are pretty similar and I can get a 7. 4 second 0-60, not blinding fast, but pretty good for a 6500lb truck, as fast as my old 90 T-Bird Supercoupe! And yes, at 5x5 I can lay a big cloud, even at 5x1 it blows a puff every time I increase the throttle.
