On my '99 CTD Quad Cab the driver's side door lock quit working, but I can hear it whirl when I use the fob. The passenger side does work. I replaced the actuator assy with one from a 1995 (same P/N), but still had the whirl sound. I checked the voltage on each of the two connector pins and when I pressed the fob had 12v on one, but the other just barely cause the meter needle to move. Pulled fuse #13 for a minute, but no difference. The problem occured after having the truck garaged for 5 mos. with the batteries disconnected. The door locks worked fine prior to this. Before reconnecting them I recharged both and took the truck for a ride. How do these door locks work? What voltage should I have on those two pins, and when?
