pyro mounting

Hey guy's I just ordered up some gauges from Genoes and I was wondering with my pyro sensor how do I mount it. I want to mount it pre turbo, but I'm not sure about the exhaust manifold? Do I just drill a hole through it and tap it? What about the filings will they damage the turbo? should I do it on the bench and if so the turbo is already off and the hard work is done maybe I should just get TWINS!! HAHAHA!!!

I don't think I've got enough power for twins... ... ... . yet!!

Hi slim! If you go to forum search and punch in what you're looking for you can get picts and install tips. I don't know the exact threads,but some of the other guys do. It is really simple,I took my turbo off to do it,which makes it easier. Hey guys are you out making smoke today? :-laf

Thanks guys, I looked at the pic's lookes like I'll put it on the bench. Do you think it would be worth while to port the exhaust manifold while it's out?

most definitely!!!!! do the exhaust housing too! you will be happy with the results.

Did mine on the truck, was simple. Just greased the bit and tap and cleaned up with a magnet.

What I've always said... ... do it all. Pull it ALL off and port/drill-tap/clean/inspect and reseal. You'll be better for it in the long run.
