I just got done installing Autometer gauges and head down the road for the maiden voyage and everything great on the boost gauge but the pyrometer I noticed registered negatively and then bounced to about 500 degrees and stopped. I had an engagement and no time to trace stuff so am asking for suggestions before tackling it tomorrow. ANy ideas? I can't believe I got the red and yellows mixed up I know I got the power wire in the right place because another gauge is using the same source and that works. Help.

Which gauges are you using? Does the pyrometer use an amplifier? I initially connected my lead wires backward, too. I thought I had fried my gauge but it was fine after I swapped the leads. I have an Isspro that does not use an amplifier.
