I,m getting ready to install a pyrometer on my 02. The instructions from Geno's show me the location to drill the manifold for the probe but also say to drill down through one wall. I wasn't aware the manifold had more than one wall. Anyone know if this is correct? How thick is the first wall? What happens if I drill too far? Help! Thanks
 
when you drill the hole you cant go to far, you will go thru one "wall" or the manifold when you feel it go thru stop, because you dont want to drill all the way thru the thing. its like drilling into a pipe, pretty straight forward.

Only problem I had was it grabbed the bit as it broke through. Had to spin the drill and just stab into the hole to bite off the little tab of metal. Used the grease to hold the crap method and a pencil magnet. worked great.
