I have a 01 2500 it came with a banks stinger plus system on it. The gauge jumps to 12-13 hundred when the key is turned on an drops when off. The gauge doesn't move from there when the engine is running. The sensor has 2-4 ohms depending on engine hot or cold. The leads and contacts all look intact. No exposed wires or rub marks that I can see. The boost an pyrometer share power and the boost works fine.
I'm not sure where to go from here. Any help would great.

I suggest you call Banks. If their customer assistance is as good as Isspro they will have a tech who can help you troubleshoot the gauge.

Check your lead wire real close, my ISSPRO came with solid core 20 years and finally work hardened and broke internally from vibration. This has made it very inaccurate and will go to zero. I have ordered a new cable from them and it is now made stranded.

Well after more digging an crawling on my back under the dash I found the excess wire that had been bundled an taped to gather then zipped tied out of the way had a repaired wire that was no longer connected. Hoorah to simple easy painfull repairs
