QC SB Fuel Tank

Can anyone tell me what tank is in the 04. 5 4x4 QC SB, or how to find the info? Need to get a replacement ($1K + for aftermarket not an option), and the Dodge parts listing shows a 34 and a 35 gallon tank - no indicators that I can find in any of the vehicle documentation. Or will both fit OK? The 34 gallon version lists for almost $150. 00 less.

BTW, if anyone has a stock tank and wants to get rid of it, I'm interested!

34 gal for SB and 35 gal for LB.

JimBob24 is correct. Short bed trucks have the 34 gallon tank.



Have you tried the local junk yards?

Try contacting the aftermarket tank companies. If the customer does not want to take their old tanks they will cut up the stocker and trash it. Here in Cali they need to be cut apart before they can be disposed of.

Thanks for all the info - was contacted by a member who has a tank from an 05 long bed - anyone know if a long bed tank can fit under a SB?
