On the subject of manual transmissions ... I see that Quad 4X4 has a interesting approach to the main shaft problem of the NV4500.
Since in another thread I was writing about the current woes of my 5-speed, the prospect of ordering a NEW 4500 with their Torque King main shaft installed is very interesting ... be it at just under $3600.
Who here has worked with / been a customer of ... Quad 4X4 and what are your thoughts/experience with their Torque King designed main shaft?
Is it worth it? Any Problems?
What ever I do, I want this to be the last time it is done (and probably have a Con-FE clutch installed).
