Have an odd question,

Installed the Quad box (replaced my EZ) - works great. However, I used my CB(or tried) the other day - whenever I key up the mic -truck stumbles and coughs while transmitting - nothing has changed except adding the Quad. CB works fine with the engine off. CB power is running off the cigar lighter wire.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Just checking before I start pulling stuff apart.

Yah that happened to one of my customers trucks, Scott had to reroute his cb wiring it was causing RF interference that would mess with the Quad box. I am sure that link in Jeff K posts is Scott's thread.

There is a simple fix for this. Call Jeremy in tech and he will tell you exactly what you need to do.

Just FYI. A lot of CB radios have terrible rf problems. Most of your good radios watch for this, but now days a ton do not. Also linears are not legal and will also cause problems. It has nothing to do with 3rd gens either. Basically you are putting an antenae out to the rail pressure and map sensors. If the radio has rf problems it will affect those circuits.

Call Jeremy, it is an easy fix.
