Hey guys after checking out CEpp and Holysmokes trucks I now have carry-all envy :{ They have their junk all organized under the back seat in their factory carry-all/junk collector and my stuff is all over the place. So now I'm looking for the part number for one for my 2001 truck or where can I buy one. I want a factory one not one of the aftermarket ones. Hope you guys can help.

rowilson, I swapped out my 1998 rear bench for a used one with the storage compartment from an '01 1500. I can't remember why, but I couldn't just get the plastic storage organizer to work with the old seat, I had to completely swap rear seats. I think it had something to do with the old seat didn't have a plate welded to it for the plastic organizer to bolt to, but I couldn't be sure.

Actually there is an additional part bolted to each rear seat support of Rams equipped with the storage bin model year 2001.

You'll need one bin, one each of the latches, and four bolts. A price check will show you that Mopar is quite proud of this bin.
  • 5012913AA BIN, Storage
  • 5012914AA LATCH, Storage Bin Lid Right
  • 5012915AA LATCH, Storage Bin Lid Left
  • 5012916AA BOLT

You'd be much better off trying to find one in a salvage yard. If you look at www.dodgeparts.com and plug in the part numbers Thomas supplied the parts are $474 MSRP/$370 for bin, and $123 MSRP/$96 for each Latch and bolts are $2. 70 MSRP/$2. 11 each.

A kind soul (Mobs241) has one for me out of a 99 but need to see it in person to see what I might need to do to make it work. It would be nice to find a complete one from a junkyard but around here I have only found one Quad cab junked and no 01's. Thanks for the help guys.

I took one out of my buddies 01 1500 when he put it for sale.

The brackets were welded to the seat brackets, but I just cut them off, can't tell on his truck. When I get around to it, I'm going to weld some plate on the brackets and bolt it in my truck so I can take it out if I want to.
