quad high beam relay

What is the quad high beam relay in the power distribution center. There is a spot for a relay but it is empty. Does this allow your low beams to stay on when you have your high beams on or is for an option that I do not have? Could I buy the appropriate relay, plug it in and have all four lights on when I put my high beams on? Thanks in advance.

that relay is used on a sport only. the sport would have a blank where your relay is located. the bulb filaments in our non-sport trucks must run independently or they would overheat and burnout.

there is a way to make the fogs stay on when highbeams are used if that helps you. I learned how to do it here and made it my first modification when I picked up my truck. its easy, just remove the fog light relay (next to the quad beam relay) and using 2 1/4" male spade conenctors and a 1" piece of wire, jump the #3 and #5 connections and you are done. it really helps !
