I have one - also have the Quad 100hp box. I like it -easy to read, simple install and has some nice features. I would purchase again.

I mounted mine on the A pillar using a single pod mount (don't ask how -it's not mounted using the supplied arm ; ) - I also painted it to match my interior (I am my own warranty station ; )

I am still waiting on the firmware fix to correct the water temp reading (reads 21 degrees low)

(I am my own warranty station ; ) :-laf , Right on !. How does it plug in to the OBD port, and do you obviously leave it there, or does it run up front to the ECM? Thanks

I have one... . sitting in my garage for the past two months :{ I'm waiting for QZ to release their pillar mount to hide the wire vs using a universal mount. I guess I could go ahead and drill for my pyro probe since I'm waiting. :-{}

I mounted mine on the universal mount right next to the "A" pillar. I used the double side tape that came with the kit to mount it to the top of the dash (I didn't want it there permanently). I just snaked the cable through gap between the dash top and the pillar. I am able to use the Commander until I decide where to finally mount it permanently.

Love it, works as advertised! Don't need to have gauges all over the cab to monitor everything this thing monitors! :)

Neither. Its only connections are to the water temp sender, MAP sensor, transmission test port #2, and an EGT probe.

I personnally have had issues with the buttons on it, and am on my second unit. Quad is working with me to resolve the button issue, but its still a PIA to have problems.

Not the first I've heard of this. That's the first thing I noticed (length of the rubber buttons) when I opened the box... if you didn't press them straight on they could bend or fold over. I'm really not to concerned about it because Quad would surely take care of any problems someone might have. However, once it's mounted I'd rather not have to take it out again.

I to used the two sided tape and the universal mount. waiting for a better way to go. I like the moniter (no chip installed) easy to read and use. The only problem I have had is that sometimes only the backlight will come on and no display. usually i can turn the truck off and restart and everything is fine. checked all wiring (power wire from fuse box) everything is ok. guess I will have to contact QZ tech support and see what they say.

Thanks all. As a follow up, what are any differences on this and other digital gauges vs analog, people just don't like the set up or clutter of analog?

Anyone have background resolution problems? I finally hooked everything up today after it sat for two months waiting for the pillar mount and I have wide verticle lines in the background. I thought it may have been the way I was looking at the screen but it's like that at all angles and backlight levels  This can't be right.

It's especially bad on the left side when setup to view 3 measurements.

I have had both analog and digital. On just looks alone, I like the analog gauges. something about all those gauges looks cool. a quick glance and you know by just by the position of the needels what the conditions are. you don't really have to "read" them. Digitals best option is the versitility, you can set the screen up the way you want control a performance chip and it take up alot less room but you do have to read the screen. sounds kind or weird buts true. Good either way is a good investment!

For the lines on the screen, try turning the backlight down in the menu. It looks like that may be the problem. Very hard to tell during the day except that you get lines like those.

Have any of you connecte up the rail pressure and fuel pressure sending options that you can get for the kit? The instructions for the fuel pressure (the low pressure side) are straight forward, but the instructions for the Rail Pressure tell you to connect the wiring harness (green wire) to the green wire coming from your XZillaraider harnes where it is connected to the factory rail pressure plug.

But I DON't HAVE and XZillaraider, only a Commander, so I don't know which wire on the factory rail pressure plug to connect the Commander rail pressure harness to.

Thoughts? The factory plug has three wires - none of them green...

I had the same question just the other day because I don't have either power module. I called Quad and they said it's the MIDDLE wire.

I've tried that...

To me that screen looks like it is being squeezed.

Look at the enclosure where the parting lines are. Are the smooth where they meet up?

You might take a phillips screw driver and slightly loosen the screws. Sometimes if they get put in too tight this sort of thing can happen with the screen.

I am not sure when you got yours but, early on we were using power drivers to install the screws and now we hand screw them so this does not happen.

Let me know if that works. Or if that does not look like the issue.

QZilla--

I loosened up the back screws but unfortunately that didn't help. I bought this back in July on a group buy that was posted on CumminsForum.com. I had it sitting for the past two months waiting for the pillar mount to be released but decide to get everything installed this past week and use the original mount as a temporary until the pillar was released.

I called and spoke to Rork this afternoon (also sent more pics) and he advised I send it in for a closer look. I'll be sending it out tomorrow.

FWIW... I appreciate that you take the time to go out "in the field" and learn first hand what concerns/questions customers are having... . I know this can be a hard crowd to deal with sometimes. Very

Not for sure but, there were some displays that got out on the initial shipments that had a non-extended temp LCD in them. That could be some of the issue? DOes it look like that all the time or does it ever clear up?

Usually the LCD's that were not supposed to go out were clear until the got hot and then they just got dark.

Either way we will be able to figure it out when it gets here. We will make sure you get the right one back.

It's like that on start up and doesn't change over time (lighter or darker).

Thanks in advance!
