So far so good

Thanks qzilla, Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo.

It appears that you have fixed my problem. I've had it (the DXZT2 Module) re-enstalled for about a week now and I haven't had any more of the surging problems.

On another note, I removed my AFE pro guard 7 air filter and heat sheild, then re-installed my stock air box with mods. I took and drilled 6 (1-1/2") holes on the bottom and front of the filter box, and I am currently using my stock paper filter. The reason for this change is due to the fact that with the AFE filter I was constantly pulling the filter minder down into the red. I was thinking that this too could have contributed to surging issue I was having. Now, with this setup I'm using I can't move the filter minder.

Just a thought here... but I believe the filter minder gets pulled down with the AFE because of how the filter minder is mounted on the intake tube. Air passes over the inlet so fast that it creates a vacuum which pulls the filter minder down. I just ignore the filter minder since installing the AFE.
