Quadzilla injectors, what's the word on them?

Add-on tachometer for diesels

Im probably going to go with DD3's but am looking at some of the other stuff available right now and was wondering how people are liking their quadzilla injectors. This is for an 03 and I would be looking for something along the lines of a 100 to 120 hp injector. Thanks.

cost per HP

we did a dyno test on quadzilla 180's vs. Super Mentals on an 01 ETC stick

The supermentals (120 HP) beat the 180's in HP and Torque

This was on a dynojet in WA state

Bob,

What kind of air was the truck running that did this test?

Up to a certain point a smaller injector will outperform a larger one, on a Dyno IMO. If the air is matched properly to the injector.

More fuel does not equal more power. But, if you have the air to burn the fuel then the bigger injector will usually shine. This of course is with proper fuel atomization.

cant argue with dyno numbers ,however the injects came out of the same truck and on the drag strip the quads were much faster than the sm 125s makes me wonder how just one of those things i guess

I bought that set of Quads from Bob, I'm very happy with them (BTW thanks Bob). As far as dyno #'s, my trucks been out of commission for almost two months because a teenage girl should have had more driver's training  ; therefore I couldn't dyno at Muncie. I definately can say they require a larger turbo than an HX35 though, I can peg out the pyro in the blink of an eye.

I run a set of quads in my '01. I have the 200hp make the mosquitos go into extinction injectors.

they are good power makers and can be driven with little smoke when running twins but require a good bit of effort to keep from being a menace on the street. They work really well with drugs.

I ran DD3s and Mitchell injectors before these and I like the QZPs better. I am changing to a set of EDMs in the quest for a more efficient injector.

I have installed quite a few sets of 100 and 120 hp injectors. They are smooth running, make the power they promise and are comparable to other makers in smoke suppresion.

All in all they are good stuff.

sickly is a 12v dyno queen. he doesn't race and the performance does not translate over to the 24v.

Sickly doesn't break 350hp till near 3000rpm either. 12v high rpm performance is another, entirely different, ball of wax.

Funny how May Madness's Queen never saw the track:rolleyes:

Sickly is a Ram = male sheep = Dyno King. Not a queen. . . I seem to remember a Texas truck that called him out, promised 650-680 hp, and after thrashing on the dyno couldn't deliver. . . oops, only 404 hp. No sphericals, there is the queen.

I rechecked, the number was 774. 8 hp, wow I cheated Sickly out of . 3 hp on my earlier post  580 hp at 2500, already enough to win in Texas. Yep, it doesn't spool as fast as those HY35s, but with a real engine, only one turbo is required  Wonder what Sickly could do with that 100 hp boost from twins. . .

Maybe someday Sickly will get twins or big injectors. . . when someone gets close enough for it to matter. Oo.

I told you there in vegas. . bring it to the track!!!!

It looks like I'll make Truck fest, see you there. . Sickly's gonna get shot with a silver bullet.

High elevation racing is fun... . tons of smoke... Mark, i'll tell you right now he will not show up... even just to watch:rolleyes: Allthough now matter how you drive... i would like to see Joe's MPH on the track that is the true test of horsepower. If he weighs 6500lbs he should trap 121mph.

Since Sickly wont be on the track and I might just happen to be there, how about my silver bullet against yours :D . Well ok mine is more grey but you get the picture. Hell I'm 150hp less than Sickly so you might have a chance :D . Oh and we'll have to race drug free cuz any junkie can push drugs.

my man if you want to lower those egts and make that truck take flight put some nos on it,those injects originally came from me put me through the traps at a best of 12. 4. the best thing about the injects was that they gave offlesssmoke than sm 125s for normal driving. damn i mi9sss that truck

Dude I know you saw Joe's glasses and you still want him to race? (no offense Joe but that'd scare me at the track :D ) Not to mention he is a 5spd and your a auto. You have racing experience and Joe has none. I dont doubt his truck would beat yours with the right driver but you also have to consider he has a unmodified 5spd transmission. I doubt his input shaft would hold his power on the strip.
