It mounts in the cab and the switch should be in the middle position.

I got my quad mileage max in now for 1 week, too soon to tell on the mpg but I do feel a difference in spool up seems a little quicker.

Do you have to mount the box in the cab, and if not, where is the best place to mount it under the hood?

Quadzilla wants it mounted in the cab. The vibration, heat, oil, etc can't be good for electronics. I mounted mine under the hood anyway (hope quad isn't listening) right next to the fuse box covered in bubblewrap. I just brought the switch inside the cab and hide it in the ash tray.

I went ahead and put electric tape over the openings and taped it up by the fuse box. I have a Mileage Max unit and could not find any switches on it. Are there any?

There should be a 3 ft long pigtail that plugs into the module and has a spdt center off switch on the other end.

Just put one on my 06 and it picked up 1mpg hand calculated.
